GCUS (Japan Global Center for Urban Sanitation) is a consortium of professional organizations from the industry, the government and the academia. The aim of the consortium is to promote sustainable sewage system overseas by consolidating know-how and expertise of Japanese organization. The activity is supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Japan and the secretariat is based in Tokyo.
